Fort Caron homes are located about eight miles south of the city of Colorado Springs. Cheyenne Shadows Golf Academy offers instruction and clinics for players of all levels to improve their games. Mulligan’s Grill is at the course and is a great place to go for a bite to eat after a round of golf.

Just off the base are two parks. Fountain Creek Nature Center is a great place to learn about local habitats, then go for a hike and see wildlife for yourself. Cheyenne Mountain State Park is another fascinating place to explore. Hike, go horseback riding, or spend a few nights camping.

It’s easy to shop for groceries on base, as well as find somewhere to eat. However, there are also some great choices just off the base. Shop at the Walmart Supercenter or pick up a few things at Walgreens. You’ll also find lots of fun restaurants and coffee shops.
